Learn how to master the flood of sus information taking over your feeds. Spot and stop misinformation in this free course.
MediaWise’s Campus Correspondents are a diverse group of college students trained by our organization to deliver fact-checking sessions virtually and in person to college classrooms across the country.
The goal of the program is to empower students to learn how to tell fact from fiction online, and in turn, teach others to do the same.
During the 2021-2022 school year, our third cohort of Campus Correspondents focused on helping their classmates learn to spot online falsehoods on social media and beyond. Previous cohorts were central to the success of the MediaWise Voter Project, a nonprofit and nonpartisan program of The Poynter Institute that taught digital literacy skills to more than 1 million first-time voters in 2020.
