Joanna Burkhardt

Joanna M. Burkhardt is a professor at the University of Rhode Island Library. She is currently the Collection Management Officer. Over her 30-year career at the University of Rhode Island she has held positions in both public and technical services. She is the author of five books and many articles about information literacy. She has taught credit courses, continuing education courses, and graduate level courses in information literacy. She has been an invited speaker about information and media literacy nationally and internationally.
