Ryan Jenot

Ryan Jenot is a member of the Teaching Operations team at Poynter. Ryan knew about Poynter long before joining the team in January 2021. While enrolled at Northern Vermont University at Lyndon (formally known as Lyndon State College), Poynter’s News University prepared Ryan for a career in broadcast journalism.

Prior to joining Poynter, Ryan served as a producer at WFLA-TV in Tampa, Florida where he covered a wide-range of topics including local and state politics, social injustice issues, catastrophic weather events, and of course, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ryan kicked off his journalism career in New England at WPRI-TV in East Providence, Rhode Island.

Ryan is a Vermont native who now calls Tampa Bay home along with his wife, dog, and cat.
