Alondhra “Aloe” Suarez

Alondhra “Aloe” Suarez is the Project Manager for the Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative, and serves as a Interactive Learning Producer across the Poynter Institute, where she creates, produces and strategizes the content for Poynter’s teaching programs.

She has produced several other popular programs, including Table Stakes (2021-2023), Digital Transformation Program (2022-2023), United Facts of America and Global Fact (8,9 and 10).

Aloe is an alumna of the Poynter Institute’s High School Journalism Program and has returned to the Tampa Bay area after graduating from the University of North Florida (#SWOOP) with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism. At UNF, she served as the content producer for Spinnaker Media’s radio station and as a feature journalist for its news department. Aloe is a bona fide Floridian and takes great pride in supporting small businesses in the local area.
